In the heart of the Cévennes, in a village near La Grand Combe and the National Park, there is a family hotel and restaurant called Le Vieux Moulin. It has recently been taken over by a young couple who have decided to come back to their roots. After eight years in the French Carribean islands, they brought with them their fancies for exotic spicy tastes. But even so, they have preserved the culinary traditions of the Cévennes in their local terroir menu adding a taste of the South for a well-varied choice.

The large, decorated rooms have a wonderful view of the mountains. To pamper our clients, they are all equipped with new, high quality bedding.

Access: very simple, from the South, just after Alès; from the North, after Florac on the RN106 road in the village of Collet de Dèze. Le Vieux Moulin hotel and restaurant is quiet, situated just below the main street. If you concentrate, you can hear the river singing in your ears…
