Portes Castle, a vessel in the Cévennes. The visitors can discover the bastion rebirth, which consists of three levels of lodgings and the kitchens. Each room contains a monumental chimney, which still functions in winter. At the top, a platform with 32m of elevation offers a birds eye view of the surrounding valleys from Mount Lozère to the Alesian plane and in clear weather, on Mount Ventoux. In summer, you are able to descover voluntary work in the court of the castle, since the gallery of Anduze. The castle's rooms regularly accommodate for thematic exhibitions targetted at students and local artists, so they can display their artwork every summer.
