The interactivity of the lights and the discovery of the galleries and their mineral beauties plunge visitors into an unusual underground world that's both fun and exciting.

It's a living cave, where water tirelessly leaves its imprint on the stone, trickling down draperies and cascades to the foot of Lac de Minuit in a spectacular display of light and shadow.
It is home to a mysterious phenomenon: an army of 100,000 soldiers at the foot of the Great Wall! A formation unique in the world.

Frequented at its natural entrance by Huguenots during the Wars of Religion, then by Trabucaires, highwaymen who used it as a hideout, it was only in 1945 that the upper network was discovered, and is now easily accessible.

Explore Trabuc's subterranean world with a variety of different tour experiences: old-fashioned with carbide lamps, more sporty with thousands of candles at night, or opt for the Magic of Christmas Lights scenography.

Each season has its own program, and stroll through these preserved marvels, which make the Grotte de Trabuc an essential part of your stay in the South of France.

Labelled "Esprit Parc National des Cévennes", the Grotte de Trabuc is part of a responsible and sustainable development approach, taking into account the emerging health imperatives linked to the reception of the public, to ensure visitors' peace of mind as they enjoy the discoveries on offer.
Our aim is to do "Better rather than More", while reconciling economic viability, heritage protection and the development of the local economic fabric.
The site offers a human-scale welcome, and the customer's experience takes the form of a friendly encounter with the staff and guides, and an immersion as close as possible to the underground environment, which, through the sensory and emotional aspect of the experience, encourages awareness of the value of the environment and the interactions of human activity.
