World record attempt by Pascal Pich, first Ironman perform at minus 52 metres in the Cocalière cave.
Pich will attempt to complete the first Ironman below ground. The programme includes a 3.8 km swim in a counter-current pool filled with water from the underground river (around 10°C), followed by 180 km of cycling on a home trainer at a temperature of around 14°C and finally a 42.2 km run on a treadmill.
Throughout the day, we will be offering activities to raise funds for the IRRP association.
The first will be a hike in the surrounding area with breathtaking views. Several options are available, including two hikes (3 km and 12 km) and a visit to the cave.
Concerts: Big JeT Plane, Linda, Aurore, and more.Other activities will be announced as the organisation progresses.
The sporting challenge will be broadcast live outside. You can go and see Pascal and chat with him during your visit to the cave.
