Cordeliers Park

  • The Parc des Cordeliers is the former garden of the Franciscan convent, also called Cordeliers, with an area of 4 hectares.
    Its main entrance is on Avenue Rollin.

    Following the paths, walkers will discover the typical trees of the region but also less common species such as the Himalayan cedar, the Virginia tulip tree, the Japanese cryptomeria, the purple beech or the Canary oak which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful specimens in Europe.

    A botanical trail, available free of charge at the reception desk of the Anduze tourist information office, allows you to discover this park.

    There is the Bust of Clara d'Anduze, the Plaque of the poet Florian, the poet and writer Henri Barbusse (1873-1935) and the resistance fighter Marcel Bonnafoux (1910-1942) as well as the war memorial.

    It also hosts playgrounds for children.

    Free entrance, open all year round.
