    Original museum on 450 m²: collections of writing objects, history and manufacturing techniques of all writing supports (papyrus, parchment, various), reconstitution of a classroom of 1920.

    The museum is very lively and attractive with many educational and fun activities throughout the year.
    A choice of eight educational workshops are proposed for each school vacation and during the visit of the classes.
    The visit ends with a workshop allowing to practice with all the writing instruments.

    Courses in straw marquetry, Western, Japanese, Hebrew and Arabic calligraphy are scheduled throughout the year. Regular courses in illumination and art framing are held every month.

    The museum permanently displays one or more temporary exhibitions in its vaulted rooms.

    The scribe's museum is also 12 travelling exhibitions that travel all over France to satisfy the public of media libraries, book or writing festivals, schools, colleges and high schools, eventful anniversaries, ...
