Laurent Geoffray, the manager and founder of the school, has been flying paragliders since 1988 and has never ceased to be passionate about this activity which he has wanted to share with the greatest number of people for more than 25 years now.
Parapente Sud was created in 1992 with a store selling specialized equipment in Anduze in the Gard department. In 1997, the structure moves to Seynes and offers first flights in paragliding with qualified and experienced instructors, for people from 3 to 99 years.
In 1999 the school set up training courses to welcome students to follow paragliding courses to learn to fly! ... Since then, many featherless birds have been trained in Seynes. The school is well established in the local life, it is a village of 160 inhabitants placed at the foot of the Mont Bouquet, where the main take-off areas are located. At the top of Mont Bouquet you can enjoy the view of the Alps to the east, the sea to the south, the Cevennes to the west and the Ardèche mountains to the north.
