HISTORICAL HERITAGE :
The castle of Trouillas Built at the foot of the Cevennes in 1610 by Jacques d'Agulhac, the castle of Rousson welcomed, in 1629, the Cardinal of Richelieu who came to sign the peace of Alès. Later it was the witness of resounding love stories in the region before suffering the damage of the revolution and the passing of time. But it still looks good. A 17th century bastide, still inhabited today by the same family lineage.

NATURAL HERITAGE:
You may be able to see the Great Horned Owl, a large nocturnal bird of prey present in the commune of Rousson. The bird is classified on the red list of threatened species. In the wild, the great horned owl can live for about twenty years, but unfortunately these great birds of prey rarely die a natural death, they are often victims of collisions with electric cables, wire fences or even illegal hunting. The Great Horned Owl measures about 75cm and can reach a wingspan of nearly 1m80. Sometimes you can see them in daylight but they are very sensitive to human presence, so be very discreet if you are lucky enough to observe them.
