    NATURAL HERITAGE:
The song of the cicada accompanies your summer hikes!
The Cicada: This emblematic insect of the South spends years as a larva under the ground. During its last year, as soon as the heat arrives at the beginning of June, the cicada transforms and sings all summer long. In reality they do not sing, they "cymbalize" and this practice is reserved only for the males. Take some time to look for the cicadas on the trees, their grey body and their big translucent wings allow to recognize them easily, but be careful as soon as you approach them, they stop singing!
