    St Martin's Church
It is named after a warrior monk, hence the name of Martignargues.
In Romanesque style, it was built in 1730 on the ruins of the first church, burned in 1702 during the religious wars. The stones used for the construction came from the old quarry of the village. One can admire outside two stones of the 9th and 10th century representing a dove and a fresco belonging to the first church.

    The horse fountain
It is a small stone construction covered by a beautiful 4-slope roof supported by 4 stone pillars. It provided water to the inhabitants.
For the consumption of the animals: the horses, mules and cows were taken to another fountain at the bottom of the village.

    NATURAL HERITAGE:
The European oriole, called "Golden Robin" because the male is bright yellow with black wings. The young and the females go unnoticed because their plumage is more dull. This protected species feeds mainly on insects but also on berries and fruits. Migratory birds, the European oriole arrives in our area in mid-April and leaves at the end of August to winter in Africa.
